About

Webtools
Amrakmusic.com has launched your free for artists’ webtools/marketing site.
These personally individualized websites include the ability to upload photos, text and password protected mp3 and wav files for demo and high quality wav download for authorized end users.
This is the first step of their artist self development plan.
Not intended as a just another fan site, the ability to present in a variety of formats is centralized in a standardized “blank slate” with the artist or industry user individualizing each feature.
The costly printing, posting and praying aspect of self marketing is eliminated by an awareness program from the artist allowing for greater return on investment for CD printing (No more need to send hard copies).
The empowerment of the artist with the tools to present in a form that is radio marketable as well as market specific creates a professional, cost effective manner to address the business side of the music industry.

Making Radio stations aware of your ability to supply Radio Mastered high quality .wav downloads is an important step in self promotion.

"Poor man's copyright"
A widely circulated strategy to avoid the cost of copyright registration is referred to as the "poor man's copyright." It proposes that the creator send the work to himself in a sealed envelope by registered mail, using the postmark to establish the date. This technique has not been recognized in any published opinions of the United States courts. While such a technique might have evidentiary value in a court of law, the method is potentially flawed because the United States Postal Service does not require an envelope to be sealed before it is mailed. The United States Copyright Office makes clear that the technique is no substitute for actual registration.[8] The United Kingdom Intellectual Property Office discusses the technique but does not recommend its use.[9]
So,in your own best interests, protect your work by registering it with a recognised organisation to establish a legal timeline.

Instructions

Instructions

To add a new song, go to the music page and click add song.
Follow the instructions and upload your MP3…..This is for listening and pay for download features.
If you have a master quality or other format song this requires a second upload and cannot be listened to, only downloaded by authorised end users such as radio stations and record labels or anyone you decide to give your personal login to.
The reason for this is that we make no conditions as to the format you may use, although radio quality wav is perhaps the way to go, the choice is yours.
This means there are several download options of any music…. a “demo”, MP3, or a finished master wav product.
By having this option we have allowed for artists to post their demos as well as make available their radio ready, mastered music for distribution.
Users can upload the text file of their choice. This would be lyrics, copyright information, general information, ISRC, affiliations etc.

Your paypal function requires your paypal address, this is added in your profile section.

Several templates are available in your profile section.

Many existing external sites can be copied and pasted to your Amrak site.

Advice;
You must have the right to post anything you put on your website. If you do not have the rights to post,
don`t do it!
Copyright, protect, and register your material. There is no point to submitting music if you haven’t done the proper paperwork.
We do not restrict artists or decide what is good music, however if what you post is a demo, then say so. While it may be O.K. for some, there are many that are more exact in what they require.
